The previous long 3 day weekend (Jan. 15-17) was dedicated to the famous civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther Kiing, Jr, born January 15, 1929. He passed away, like President Lincoln, M. Gandhi and President Kenneky before him, on April 14, 1968, assassinated.
I remember 4 quotes from him:
1. We must learn to live together as brothers or perish together as fools.
2. Peace is not merely the absence of conflicts, but the presence of justice.
3. We must not judge people by the color of their skin, but by the the content of their character.
4. If a man hasn't discovered something that he will die for, he is not fit to live.
We can meditate on those.
