Former King Norodom Sihanouk passes awy in Beijing on Monday October 15th 2012, Pchum Ben Day, 15 days before his 90th Birthday on October 31. The King was much venered by the Khmer people, he was known as the father of the Khmer Independence from France and he was called by his new name of King Father/Grand Father.
His body will be flown home on October 17th and will be exposed for public viewing for 3 months jn the Royal Palace before the official funeral.
