The Independence Day for the United States of American freeing themselves from the United Kingdom rules. Originally there were only 13 states or colonies, that expand through the time to the actual 50 states. The US got their independence since 1776 now in their 235th birthday.
There were celebration everywhere with festivities, parades and fireworks. I first celebrate the first Julu 4th in the refugee center in the Marines Corps Camp Pendleton in 1975 as a refugee just granted asylum in the US.
