Days after
Nothing from the Police. Only exchange of accusations on who is behind the crime, between the ruling party and the opposition. Hot debates.
Now the case is in the hands of the Court. The suspect is formally charged of 2 counts: premeditate killing and illegal possession of fire arm. The culprit may be sentenced to prison for life.
The person who sell the gun to the killer will also investigated.
As always in case like this, it is hard that justice is served. Will see ...

July 6-7: The Beginning of the End
The July coup, or whatever you call it, was the signal of the beginning of the end of Democracy, in Cambodia, that is since 1997. From then on, the CPP winner of the fight with the FUNCINPEC took control over the security forces, the administrative apparatus, and the finances. In simple terms, all subsequent elections were slated t be won by the CPP. It happened in 1998, in 2003, in 2008, in 2013, and in 2018, if the elections were organized in the present atmosphere ... under the CPP rule of law.
In 1993 FUNCINPEC won because the elections were organized by the United Nations, thanks to the Paris Peace Agreements signed n October 23, 1991. Now the CPP say that the PPA were dead ...
